Jungle World = POOP!
Louise from work rang me yesterday and I was expecting her to be with Leanne to ask why I had quit my job, but I got even more of a shock when I answered. She was with Kayleigh and she told me that she got her wages of about £90 for this week. Kayleigh on the other hand, who worked about 35 hours last week and was paid about £160, told me that she had worked roughly 30 hours this week and only got £19 wages! Her actual wages were £49, then Katie took out £20 for what she owed to Leanne and then said that it was wrong, recalculated it and only gave her £19 instead. It's absolutely disgusting and I am so furious!!! I still don't even know what hours I was paid for last Saturday, or what the actual pay rate is which is pathetic and crap because I can't work out how much I'm owed to tell them I want my wages. Apparently they all got double taxed this weekend too. I have no idea how they can take off tax or National insurance if they haven't even got anybodies National Insurance numbers - is that even possible? The money that's been taken off is obviously going into their back pockets!! I've still not heard from them since I quit and I'm still reluctant to give them until Friday to send me the wages I am owed. If they don't, and if I don't hear from them, then I'm going to see Citizen's Advice and take them to court over the wages, the 5 minute break issue, and I'm sure there will be a couple of other reasons I can throw in too. I'm really appalled at everything about them, I'm still shocked over the wage issue with Kayleigh. Nobody got wage slips again this week either so I'm really doubting how legit the company actually is. I guess I'm lucky to have another job to fall back onto for the time being, and I only wish I could help and get Sam, Louise and Kayleigh some other work too because I love those girls to bits!! I'm just so upset and angry at them though because we all deserve so much better than what they are treating us like and it's not right or fair that they are doing this to us and the other people that are working there. I'm going to get as clued up as I can on the matter and kick some ass!
